The Royal Marine Hotel is our venue of choice for gala dinners and awards ceremonies. Since its launch as a four star luxury hotel we have run many events in the ball room including the National Maritime Ball, the Shelflife C-Store Awards and the Miss Ireland finals. Even when we operate at full capacity, our guests and customers feel the warmth and quality.  This hotel is an excellent example of management leadership within the hospitality sector. Our post event research shows that this venue scores, an average in excess of 90% on access; parking; quality of food; quality of service; ambience and accommodation. As event organisers we feel that this is in fact a five star hotel disguised as a four star. We are happy to recommend the Royal Marine Hotel.

The Festival of World Cultures is proud to be associated with the Royal Marine Hotel in Dún Laoghaire. Each year the Royal Marine Hotel provides extraordinary hospitality to our visiting artists and patrons and has consistently supported the work of the Festival through much needed and appreciated support for many Festival events.

The Royal Marine Hotel generously facilitates our education and workshop programme and also hosts a number of concerts within the hotel itself.

The beautiful hotel gardens have also played host to many special events over the years, including a Japanese Teahouse with two of Kyoto’s most distinguished Geisha, martial arts displays and in 2009, a spectacular outdoor audio visual installation which used the stunning façade of the hotel as the backdrop for Ciaran McCelland’s compelling visual presentation alongside a stunning performance by acclaimed Ukrainian group Dakhabrakha. Without the support of the Royal Marine Hotel these events would not be possible.

The management and staff are professional and accommodating at every turn and the Festival enjoys an excellent working relationship with the fantastic team at the Hotel.

The Royal Marine Hotel is a core venue and partner to the Festival of World Cultures and we wish them long and continued success.

I am very pleased to send you this letter of compliment on behalf of the Management Team and Staff of Mount Carmel Hospital.  We would like to thank you for the assistance and support provided during the planning of our Christmas Party on 10th December 2009 and indeed the fantastic service received on the night.

Your hospitality and commitment from our first meeting and throughout the event was outstanding. The hotel, location and service received was flawless.

Again I say many thanks to all involved and should we decide to celebrate Christmas 2010 we will definitely consider the Royal Marine Hotel.

It's now 4 months since our 'Big Day' and all our guest are still talking about the Fab day they had in the Royal Marine Hotel.

From our first meeting, we found all the Team very helpful. Nothing was any problem and they did anything they could to make our day as special as possible.  We also had the pleasure of dealing with the general manager Aidan as he was who we happened to meet at the Wedding Fair in 2009. We had explained to the Team that we had booked our Wedding for the 25th September 2009 with another Hotel and unfortunately had to change the venue. With 6 months to our Big Day Aidan and the Team assured us that they would make sure they would help us in every way they could to make sure the change of venue went smoothly. We honestly couldn't thank them enough.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel on our Special Day, we were greeted by Lisa who assisted us with all the planning of our Wedding Day. We found Lisa most helpful and very friendly. Throughout the day, there was always a member of the Team to assist us and I couldn't forget to mention how helpful Paul was throughout the evening and into the night.

We had the most amazing menu for our guests and there wasn't one complaint about the food. 

We finished out the day in Hardy's Bar with a great sing song and their attitude was 'once we were happy, they where happy'.

With the Peoples Park on it's door step, it was an amazing place for photos.

The Royal Marine has everything. 

We really wish it was this time last year and that we could do it all again and if we were, we would definitely be going back to the Royal Marine Hotel.

Thanks for making our day so special. It was as it should have been 'The happiest day of our lives'

We had the most amazing time at our wedding on 16 April 2010.  All the hotel staff were fantastic over the whole weekend and couldn’t do enough for us.  Jessica, our wedding co-ordinator was so great at answering any questions or requests that we had in the run up to the wedding and was in constant contact with us.  Paul, who looked after our every request on the day itself, could not have been better to us.  He made everything so easy and relaxed for us and we really did enjoy every minute of it.  The food was gorgeous and everybody raved about it afterwards.  Our Presidential Suite that we had for the weekend was so beautiful.  We wish that we could have stayed for longer.  We have stayed in the hotel many times before and we are really looking forward to coming back and staying again.  We are so thrilled that we chose the Royal Marine Hotel for our wedding.  Thank you so much for everything.
