Where is the Royal Marine Hotel located?
The Royal Marine Hotel is set directly on the seafront in Dún Laoghaire, overlooking Dublin Bay. Our location places you at the heart of a historic coastal town with cultural landmarks, galleries, theatres and scenic walks all within easy reach.


What time is check in/check out?
Check in is from 4pm and check out is 12 noon. Late check out can be arranged subject to availability. Please note a late check out fee will apply. Please contact reception.

Is there car parking?
We offer complimentary car parking to all residents. Our car park is underground and the barrier lifts on entry. Wheelchair‑accessible spaces are also available. On your departure, please ask a member of the reception team for your exit parking ticket.

Can we explore the area without a car?
Yes. One of the great pleasures of staying at the Royal Marine Hotel is how easy it is to explore without a car. Dún Laoghaire is compact, walkable and well connected. Many of the town’s cultural attractions, cafés and coastal paths are just a short stroll from the hotel.


Do you have WiFi?
WiFi is complimentary for all guests and is available in all areas of the hotel.


Can you store my luggage?
We can store your luggage if you arrive to the hotel before check‑in time and we do not charge for this service.


What time is breakfast served?
We serve breakfast from 7am–10.00am Monday–Friday, 7am–10.30am Saturdays, and 8am–11am Sunday.


How can I get to the hotel? 
Is public transport nearby?
We are close to all Dublin transport links: Dublin Bus, DART, Aircoach, and taxis.
The DART coastal train line is a short 5-min walk from the hotel. Trains connect easily to Dublin city centre, Dalkey, Killiney and Howth, making cultural day trips effortless.


Do you have a swimming pool?
We have an 18‑meter, 31‑degree heated swimming pool. Please note that you are required to wear a swimming hat and flip‑flops.


Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?
The hotel is fully wheelchair accessible. Step‑free access is available throughout the hotel, with accessible bedrooms, lifts to all floors and accessible public areas. On arrival to the hotel, payment will be required. If paying in cash: payment for the total number of nights will be required at check‑in. A refundable deposit of €50.00 per night of stay will also be required.
